2) NeurIPS 2024 Call for Socials
We re excited to announce our call for proposals for Socials at NeurIPS 2024! Socials are events that focus on the social aspects of the conference, rather than the technical ones, and are opportunities for our community to meet up, discuss, collaborate, debate, or celebrate around a common interest.
We re soliciting proposals from all registered NeurIPS attendees on any social topic of common interest within our community. For more details, read our call at:
Proposals are due September 5, 2024 (AoE).
3) NeurIPS 2024 Call for Ethics Reviewers
We are seeking additional ethics reviewers for NeurIPS 2024. NeurIPS has asked authors to consider ethics and broader impact when submitting their papers since 2021, and adopted a Code of Ethics in April 2023. Ethics reviews are a second round of review that take place should the program committee flag any potential concerns during the technical review phase. Ethics reviewers provide feedback to the program committee regarding risks and harms of the work, and recommend potential mitigations prior to acceptance.
For more details, and to sign up to be an ethics reviewer, please refer to our Google forms page: http://tiny.cc/neurips2024ethics
