NeurIPS Day 4: Main Conference
On day 4 (Thursday) of NeurIPS 2021, the main program will consists of three sessions.
- Session 1 starting at 7 UTC-0 will showcase the invited talk by Alessio Figalli on “Optimal Transport: Past, Present and Future”. This is going to be followed by a poster session.
- Session 2 starting at 15.00 UTC-0 with an interview with Daniel Kahneman, who won the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 2002 and who is very well known for his research in behavioral economics. This session will close with another poster session.
- Session 3 starting at 23.00 UTC-00 will begin with an invited talk by Meredith Broussard on “Gender, Allyship and Public Interest Technology”; This last session will also conclude with a poster session.
Concurrent with the main program, there will also be presentations from the Dataset and Benchmark Track (during session 2 but also during the intermission between session 2 and 3) and demos.
During the main program intermissions instead, there will be presentations from competitions, as well as a round table on Copyright and Fair Use, the affinity event of Women in Machine Learning, and socials (Queer in AI, Improving Global Outreach Collaboration snf Communication, Women in AI Ignite).
